
Boise State Wrestling Team Camp
June 29th through July 3rd (Entering Grades 8-12)
Camp Format:
This camp is for high school aged students between the ages of 14 and
18 years and is structured to focus on the skills of competitive match
wrestling such as strategies, tactics, match management, clock
management, and effective techniques. Campers will be divided into
competitive dual match teams. HS Teams may choose to bring only their
wrestlers, or they may combine with other schools to make one team.
Individual wrestlers looking to participate can sign up independently
and will be assigned a team at the first practice based on the initial
weigh-ins.
Daily Schedule (Residents):
7-8 am-
Breakfast; 9-10 am Technique; 10-11:30 1-2 Duals; Noon-1pm – Lunch; 2-4
pm 1-2 Duals; 4-5 pm – Games; 5-6 pm – Dinner; 6:30-7:30 pm –
Technique; 7:30-9 pm – 1-2 Duals; 10:30 pm – In Rooms; 11 pm Lights Out;
Daily Schedule (Commuters):
9-10
am Technique; 10-11:30 1-2 Duals; Noon-1pm – Lunch; 2-4 pm 1-2 Duals;
4-5 pm – Games; 5-6 pm – Dinner; 6:30-7:30 pm – Technique; 7:30-9 pm –
1-2 Duals; Commuters must be picked up by 9:30 pm and are released for
the day.
Cost:
1) Camp Pricing:
a. Resident Pricing: Cost of camp includes instruction, your stay in the dorm and all meals, you will also receive a camp t-shirt. If teams are bringing 1-14 wrestlers, each wrestler will be charged $300 per wrestler, if teams are bringing 15-22 wrestlers, each resident wrestler will be charged $285, if teams are bringing 23 wrestlers or over, each resident wrestler will be charged $270
b. Commuter Pricing: Cost includes all instruction and a camp t-shirt. If teams are bringing 1-14 wrestlers, each commuter wrestler will be charged $150 per wrestler, if teams are bringing 15-22 wrestlers, each commuter wrestler will be charged $135, if teams are bringing 23 wrestlers or over, each commuter wrestler will be charged $120
c. Discount: 25% off for BSU employee’s kids.
d. Coaches Pricing: Commuter Coaches are free (must bring wrestlers with
you). However, resident coaches will need to pay for room and board.
For the week, its about $140 for meals and dorm room. Or you can
always make your own arrangements. BSU wrestling doesn't get any money
from the coaches in this camp. We will merely provide you an
opportunity to purchase room and board through BSU housing.
Camp Payment:
Online
payment is NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME FOR THE TEAM CAMP. Please make
checks payable to Boise State University Wrestling Camp, and bring them
with you the day of camp. We will collect all funds at check-in, and
we will receipt all funds at that time. If paying for multiple
wrestlers at once, please bring an itemized note/list complete with
amount paid for each kid (to ease our bookkeeping and red tape),
because we must abide by NCAA rules. Boise State Athletic
Administration has mandated that this is the ONLY way we can collect
funds.

If you are signing up as an individual, there will be a link at the
sign up page for individual commuters and individual residents (for team competition camp). Please click on the appropriate link, and sign up. We will then place you on a team at the start of camp. $150 commuter, $300 overnight
Registration
Please register online by clicking the appropriate links (either
"players link for team registration" or "click here for individual team
camp sign up"). You MUST register online and use an e signature, even
if you wait all the way until check-in on the first day of camp to
register at the door. You will really be saving a lot of time and
hassle by registering BEFORE you come to camp. T-SHIRTS will only be
given to campers who are registered online at (or before) 2 weeks prior
to the first day of camp, as we must have time to order the T-Shirts.
PLEASE do NOT print out old waivers from previous years and expect us
to accept them. ALL registration materials MUST be done ONLINE ONLY.
Payment is the ONLY thing not done online for team competition camp
(team or individuals).
Medical/Age Information
Campers
must be entering (going into) grade levels between 8 and 12 in the fall
of 2009. Campers must have medical insurance documentation to attend
camp. Certified athletic trainers are in attendance and available
throughout camp.
*you must have complete medical information on file before you are allowed to participate.
*campers must submit a copy of the medical insurance card BEFORE CAMP BEGINS to participate.
Accommodations:
Overnight campers will stay in the Boise State University dorms. Each
dorm is designed to house 2 people. A standard bed pack is provided:
pillow, pillowcase, blanket, towel, wash cloth and 2 sheets. All
resident campers will have a roommate. There will be camp counselors in
the dorms droning the evenings. Meals will be provided beginning with
dinner on the first day of camp and ending with lunch on the last day
of camp. Meals will be served at Table Rock Café in the Student Union
Building. Camp will start each morning at 9 am. Commuter campers will
NOT receive any meals, but can purchase meals at Table Rock Café
(usually between $7 and $10 per meal) or from any of the restaurants
and grocery stores in close proximity to BSU. Commuter campers can be
picked up at 9 pm each evening. Camp will finish on Friday, July 3rd at
4pm promptly.
Staff:
The Boise State University Men’s
Wrestling Staff is involved in coaching all campers. Many outstanding
collegiate wrestlers are here to assist, including current and former
Boise State Broncos.
Check-In:
All campers will
check-in at the Chaffee Hall dormitory from 9am to Noon on Monday, June
29th. Chaffee is directly across the parking lot from the wrestling
practice facility (Caven-Williams Sports Complex).

Boise State Wrestling Individual Technique Camp
June 29th through July 3rd (Entering Grades 3-8)
Camp Format:
This camp is for high school aged students between the ages of 9 and
15 years and is structured to focus on the basic skills of wrestling
such as stance, motion, level-change, penetration step, basic defenses,
and playing games that incorporate wrestling specific motions.
Camp Payment:
Payments for the individual technique (NOT TEAM COMPETITION) camp are to be made ONLY ONLINE through the online registration link above. Credit/Debit card is the only acceptable form of payment for the individual camp for grades 3-8.

Kirk White Curtis HS Wrestling Camp
If you enjoy the challenges of
competition and hand to hand combat, then wrestling is the sport for you. Give
yourself the opportunity to improve your basic skills and gain valuable mat
time with one of the premier technical teachers in the Nation. Featured
counselors: Brad Muri, Brent Chriswell, Brad Sweet and Jake Swartz.
What: Curtis High School will be
sponsoring Kirk White's CHS Wrestling Camp, open to all, but specifically
designed for Curtis senior & junior high school wrestlers. Since space is
limited we would like to keep the roster to the first 50 individuals who sign
up.
Where: Curtis Junior High North Gym When: Monday through Friday June 22-26
